This was our home base. It's a little village that somehow manages to accomodate tourists without seeming crass and "touristy". The town center (which is only a few blocks long) is right near the beach and has everything you need: a bar, restaurants, shops, a grocery store, sports equipment rentals, and a shave ice stand. Apparently this is the town where Puff, the Magic Dragon folicked in the autumn mist. Oddly, in the song the name of the town is pronounced incorrectly (HanaLEE instead of HanaLAY).
